This is the 1851 Colt Navy model. Don't let the term"NAVY" throw you off, it was one of the most widely issued firearms of the war. Issued to all branchs.

This beauty is the Colt 1860 "army" model. Some say the prettiest percusion revolver ever.

The 1858 Remington New model Army is a favorite for a couple reasons. It has a cylinder that can be changed easily. It also has a solid frame, making it much more sturdy and accurate.
